In the first part we took a backup of the Blogger Posts. Now we will learn that, how do we restore from a backup file.

Restore from Backup - Steps

Step - 1. Copy & paste your backup file from download folder to Desktop.

Step - 2. Now Under "Settings" Tab, click on the Other tab. Now Under "Import & back up"  click on "Import Content" as shown below.

Step - 3. Now a popup will appear on your screen, click on the "CAPTCHA" to prove that you are not a robot. Now click on the "Import from computer" tab on popup window. Now select the backup file & click "Open" as shown below. It will take few minutes & you are done.

Now  the Steps - How to Disable Comments in Blogger:

Step - 1. Login into your blog & select the blog in which you want to disable comments.

Step - 2.  Go to "Posts, comments and sharing" Under "Settings" Tab. like Settings  ›  Posts, comments and sharing.

Step - 3. Click on the Comment Location settings & Select "Hide". Now Save your settings & you are done. This complete procedure can be shown in the screenshot given below.

How to backup Blogger posts & Restore from Backup. Blogger posts are the most important part of the blog. So, Backup of the posts is very important. With the help of this backup you can also transfer your blog posts to another blog. Here are the steps for this tutorial.

Steps for taking backup of blogger posts :

Step - 1. Login into your blogger account & select the blog whose backup is to be taken. Now click on the "Settings" tab under "more options" as shown below.

Step - 2. Under "Settings" click on the "Other" tab & as shown below.

Step - 3. After opening "Other" tab, click on the "Back up Content" tab under Import & back up section. Now a small popup box will appear. 

Step - 4. Now click on the option "Save to your computer" & the backup will be stored on your computer as an XML file you can keep this XML file safe for future use & if you want to transfer your blog posts to another blog then you can just upload the backup.

Step - 2. Now click On the More Options Tab (DropDown) as Shown below & Now Click On the Layout Tab.

Step - 3. In the Layout Section Click On the Add a Gadget (In Sidebars & Footer Widgets where you want to add your contact form)

Step - 4. Now a popup window will open as shown in the fig. given below & click on the More Gadgets Tab.

Step - 4. When you click on More Gadgets Tab the list of Gadgets Changes & Now on the top you will see a Contact form Gadget. 

Step - 5. Now Click On + icon in front of this Contact form. Click Save button & you are done. 

Now the Last step is to open your blog & you will see a simple Contact form as shown below.
